How much does delivery cost?

FREE! There is no delivery or pickup cost within Auckland postcode coverage area listed on our page. Surrounding areas will attract a small delivery fee. Please call/email us if your area is not listed and we’ll work something out.

All delivery and pick up service are to the ground floor only.

If you live above ground floor and require boxes to be delivered to your floor, it is your own responsibility to make your own additional arrangements. Our boxes come with moving dolly, so we can stack the boxes and you can roll them away.

What is the size of the eco-friendly moving boxes?

68cm x 43cm x 32cm (73 litres)

Do you cater to areas outside of the Auckland region?

Unfortunately, not at this stage. Please drop us an email or call us to see if we can help in any way.

Can I label the moving boxes and remove the labels afterwards?

Yes, you sure can. Each moving package comes with adhesive labels that you can stick on allocated areas on the box and yes, please remove the labels from the boxes after you have unpacked and we will collect the boxes accordingly.

What happens if I do not return the correct number of moving boxes or dolly on the pick up date?

Say for example you’ve hired 60 boxes and 3 dollies in total, and our driver came for collection but there were only 59 boxes and 2 dollies because you’ve forgot to leave the remaining 1 box and 1 dolly out or pass them to our driver. You will then be liable to pay for a standard collection fee of $50+gst for our driver to come and pick up the remaining 1 box and 1 dolly.

Can I return the moving boxes earlier?

Yes, however there will be no refund for early returns.

Can I extend my hire period?

Not a problem! Drop us an Email or give us a call and we can arrange a new pickup date for you. Please allow at least 48 hours to notify us of any changes.

Is CLEVERBOX a moving company?

We are not a moving company but we hire reusable, plastic, eco-friendly moving boxes to make your move easier, faster, cleaner and greener. And since the boxes are very easy to pack, stack and roll, you will save time and money when hiring a moving company to do your move for you.

I need more boxes!

You can order another bundle or alternatively, give us a call if it is of a lesser volume than the bundles.

Can I collect the moving boxes myself?

Unfortunately, you can’t. In order to keep costs low and pass the savings on to you, we do not have a manned warehouse. Put your feet up and let us do the driving.

When will I receive my order?

We are currently providing pick ups and deliveries from Monday to Friday. Please order your boxes at least 2-3 days in advance to ensure smooth delivery and avoid unnecessary disappointment. We will advise you in 24 hours if the time and day you chose is unavailable. If you require an urgent/specific pick up and delivery day please call or email us info@cleverbox.co.nz and we will discuss different options for you.

How can I pay?

You can pay online during the ordering process or directly to our bank account.

What if I lose or damage a box or dolly?

Our boxes are very sturdy and rugged, but lost or broken boxes will incur a replacement fee of $50.00+GST for each box and dolly replacement fee is $150+GST for each dolly.

Do I need to clean the boxes after use?

Yes, please return our boxes in good usable and clean condition with labels removed (reasonable wear and tear is accepted) If it requires a complete wash down and a thorough scrub then there will be a $5.00 cleaning fee per box.

Do I need to be at present for the delivery?

Not necessarily, as long as there is a SAFE place to leave the delivery would be fine. It is best that someone receives the boxes as you will assume full responsibility of the boxes once delivered.
